She is a passionate mediator who believes in her clients’ abilities and self-determination while ensuring she offers a process that is respectful, focused and efficient (in both time and cost).
Judith is a Chartered Mediator providing mediation and conflict resolution training. Judith has been mediating and training for 20 years in the areas of separation and divorce, workplace, provincial court civil claims and restorative justice.

Prior to that, Judith worked with the Mediation and Restorative Justice Centre for nine years, starting as a volunteer mediator with the Victim/Offender Mediation Program before becoming a Co-chair and then Executive Director of the Centre. Before moving into mediation, Judith spent ten years in the Human Resource field, including grievance administration, giving her a strong foundation for her workplace mediation and conflict resolution training.
Judith is a co-author and instructor of the 9-day, 3-module course in Separation & Divorce Mediation for the ADR Institute of Alberta. She is a lecturer and coach with the University of Alberta's Business Faculty and a member of the Provincial Court Civil Mediation Program roster. ADR philosophy: I am a firm believer that the qualities of effective communication and clear conflict resolution skills can have far-reaching benefits not only financially for businesses but also in personal fulfillment and success. I use an Interest-based mediation model to help individuals gain understanding and insights supporting them to resolve their issues.
